Thursday, December 5, Christmas Parade commences at 6:00 PM followed by lighting of the Mayor’s Christmas Tree, pictures with Santa, children’s Christmas Crafts and more.
Horse-drawn Carriage Rides – Reservations are highly recommended as tours sell-out quickly. Rides depart from the Depot at Wall Street & Scott Avenue. (1 S. Scott Ave.) every 20 minutes.
The Artificers 8th Annual Christmas Art Show includes a variety of artists and mediums. Get a start on your holiday shopping with unique one-of-a-kind gifts.
The 43rd annual Candlelight Tours on the grounds of the Fort Scott National Historic Site feature over 1,000 candle lanterns and reenactors that bring the fort back to life! Tours are on the half-hour and start every 15 minutes, lasting approximately 1 hour. Tickets historically sell-out quickly. Call 620-223-0310 for ticket information.
