Whiskey Raccoons had our first practice together in October of 2014 and are taking St. Louis by storm!
Since playing our first gig in December 2014, we have booked hundreds of gigs all over the St. Louis area and we couldn’t be more excited!
We are so grateful to be part of the St. Louis music scene and want to ramp up the live music awareness in St. Louis as much as possible.
We perform regularly at various venues, including the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten, Augusta Winery, Botanical Gardens,Bar Louie in Kirkwood St Louis & St Charles,Big Daddy’s in Soulard, Llewellyn’s in Soulard, The Corner Gates on Cherokee Street and Walnut Grill in Ellisville and have also performed at The Mad Art Gallery, 9th Street Abbey in Soulard, the Renaissance Hotel by the airport, The Congress Room in CWE, Three Sixty, Tin Roof, Hollywood Casino, Wild Sun Winery, the St. Louis Zoo, and many, many more!
Whiskey Raccoons got together via a fateful Craigslist ad. Cara was looking for a guitarist to put together an acoustic duet and John was looking for a singer. Voila! A band was formed.
We both come from musical family backgrounds and when we aren’t out performing or working our full-time jobs, we’re writing music and are happy to say we have published our first original album!!. Buy it in our shop or
