Come enjoy Lavender Fest 5 on June 18 from 9-3! This unique family outdoor event is held annually on the 3rd Saturday in June. The Lavender Patch Farm is a small family-owned lavender farm open for agritourism. Come pick a bundle(s) of lavender, walk through the fields, listen to the music, take a tour of the fields, watch some demonstrations, enjoy family games, and even participate in some hands on activities!
While you enjoy the lavender fields, surrounded by wildflowers and prairie grasses feel free to take pictures of you and your loved ones. Then relax while enjoying some lavender lemonade and/or lavender ice cream! The lavender shop will be open to take home some lavender memories if you would like.
The cost is $5.00 (includes tax) for 13 years and older. As always, you may pay at the festival. However, for simplicity sake, they will soon have an option to pay online and then you can print a ticket or show your phone. You may do this for the entry fee, a couple of (optional) paid activities, including U-pick ($5.00), as well as the meal of Herb de Provence Pulled Pork Sandwich, chips, and a lavender sweet treat as well as your choice of bottled water or lavender lemonade for $8. Once the ability to buy the tickets online is live, it will be posted on their website (www.thelavenderpatchfarm.com) as well as their Facebook page.
