Sunshine Boutique has held its doors open in downtown Fort Scott, Kansas for over 30 years. Georgia Brown and her husband Donnie Brown opened Sunshine in 1987. During that time, Donnie and Georgia raised three beautiful children, and now have several grand children including great grandchildren. Over the past few years Georgia and her granddaughter Kinede Houdashelt, her assistant, began brainstorming. The ladies knew they wanted new improvements for the boutique. In 2017, Georgia and Donnie took granddaughters Kinede and Tuker Ross to the World Market in Dallas, Texas to find all new inventory. At the same time, the store took on new renovations. We is excited to be up and running again with new things arriving daily!
Sunshine offers the best gifts and personal items. From make up bags, to candles, to home decor, you guess it, we have it! Our boutique also offers bridal registry, tuxedo rentals, and fine coffee and tea as well. Sunshine is a faith based business and has been in the historical downtown Fort Scott, Kansas area for over 30 years.
