The annual National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) Event is at Gunn Park Trails in Fort Scott’s picturesque Gunn Park on Saturday/Sunday, April 27-28. Youth mountain bicycle riders (7th-12th grade) take to one of the best and most aggressive single-track trails in the region! The route rolls through the woods, meadows, and along the Marmaton River.
Gunn Park traffic is limited for rider safety this weekend. Spectators are welcome to cheer these amazing kids to better their times and greet them as they cross the finish line. You must park vehicles outside Gunn Park though.
Saturday is the pre-ride event to allow participants to experience the trails. Races are Sunday.
